I, Jenny Zhan, in my capacity as President of Charlotte Chinese Story Time (CCST), hereby formally declare that Charlotte Chinese Story Time is a legally independent entity and operates separately from any other organization, including the Chinese American Association of Charlotte (CAAOC). At no time, past or future, have these entities had any legal, financial, or operational dependencies.
Charlotte Chinese Story Time is duly established and operates in accordance with the laws and regulations governing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the United States. We maintain an independent governance structure, financial accounts, and decision-making authority. Conversely, CAAOC has never exercised nor retained any control, ownership, or authoritative influence over CCST in any capacity.
This letter formally affirms the independent legal status of CCST from CAAOC or any other organization for all official, regulatory, and contractual purposes. Should further clarification be required, please contact me at CharlotteChineseStoryTime@gmail.com.
